Hilander Pony Club

Pony Club is a nationally recognized equestrian program, where members earn certification levels for their riding and horsemanship skills. Its not just for ponies! Pony Club is open to all horses and ponies suitable for youth.  Members progress at their own pace, learning both mounted and unmounted horsemanship skills. There is a recommended reading list, which includes USPC Manuals and other horsemanship books. Rallies, competitions and certifications are all optional. Hilander Pony Club is part of the Northwest Region, but travel to Oregon region frequently. Members must have access to a horse. Disciplines include: Dressage, Eventing, Showjumping, Tetrathalon, Games, Quiz and more. 

Rates

  • Partial cost of mounted and unmounted lessons included in annual riding fees. 
  • Approx. $225/yr membership + $125/yr Riding Fees = approx $350./yr + club fundraisers. 
  • Meetings are in Castle Rock and Longview, and Cross-Country summer schooling mtgs in Chehalis, or Rochester. 
  •  Meets 2x/mo Mounted, 1x/mo Unmounted, 1 Business Meeting/mo. 
  • Travel/trailering horse to meetings ($20/1-2x/mo); gas stipend for travel when needed.
